Software Engineer - integrations (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Silverline Meridian Facilities and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about customer sites into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with customer sites. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
