Software Engineer - integrations (Providence, RI)

Greenridge Amber Medical designs and makes medical devices in Providence. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on integrations. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about training materials into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with training materials. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
