Software Engineer - integrations (Portland, OR)

Rivermark Timber Early Learning Group runs childcare centres in Portland caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on integrations. You would join a large organisation of about 332 people based in Portland. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about meal programmes into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with meal programmes. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
