Software Engineer - integrations (Portland, OR)

Clearpath Bright Community Partners Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for grant reporting, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about grant reporting into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with grant reporting. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
