Software Engineer - integrations (Pittsburgh, PA)

Cedar Clear Facilities is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for contractor visits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with contractor visits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
