Software Engineer - integrations (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Juniper Energy and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about service connections into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
