Software Engineer - integrations (Omaha, NE)

Harborlight Basin Care Services supports families and individuals in Omaha with personal care and coordination, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our integrations. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Turn requests about visit scheduling into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with visit scheduling. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
