Software Engineer - integrations (Oakland, CA)

Ironwood Haven Early Learning runs childcare centres in Oakland caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our integrations. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about tuition and subsidies into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
