Software Engineer - integrations (Oakland, CA)

Rivermark Hollow Care Services supports families and individuals in Oakland with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on integrations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about family communication into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
