Software Engineer - integrations (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Meridian Health Partners and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about insurance authorisations into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with insurance authorisations. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
