Software Engineer - integrations (New Orleans, LA)

Highbridge Birch Care Services supports families and individuals in New Orleans with personal care and coordination, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our integrations. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about caregiver training into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with caregiver training. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
