Software Engineer - integrations (New Orleans, LA)

Bright Yarrow Legal Group is a New Orleans practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our integrations. You would join a large organisation of about 660 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Turn requests about client files into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with client files. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
