Software Engineer - integrations (New Orleans, LA)

Westbrook Ivory Care Services is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for client records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about client records into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with client records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
