Software Engineer - integrations (Minneapolis, MN)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Field Community Partners and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. You would join a large organisation of about 554 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about benefits enrolment into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
