Software Engineer - integrations (Minneapolis, MN)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Ivory Facilities and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about cleaning schedules into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with cleaning schedules. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
