Software Engineer - integrations (Milwaukee, WI)

Nova Meadow Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Milwaukee and nearby communities, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our integrations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about treatment plant data into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Milwaukee. • We reply to every applicant.
