Software Engineer - integrations (Madison, WI)

Summit Cedar Facilities Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for safety inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with safety inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
