Software Engineer - integrations (Madison, WI)

Northwind Pike Insurance is an insurance company in Madison with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on integrations. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about catastrophe response into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with catastrophe response. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Madison. • We reply to every applicant.
