Software Engineer - integrations (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Northwind Financial and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. You would join a small organisation of about 194 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about vendor spend into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with vendor spend. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
