Software Engineer - integrations (Knoxville, TN)

Bright Rowan Facilities looks after properties across the Knoxville region, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our integrations. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about customer sites into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with customer sites. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
