Software Engineer - integrations (Jacksonville, FL)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Corner Water Authority and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Turn requests about water quality into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
