Software Engineer - integrations (Indianapolis, IN)

Nova Bridge Energy is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for service connections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 186 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Turn requests about service connections into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
