Software Engineer - integrations (Houston, TX)

Ironwood Ember Medical Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for regulatory submissions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 337 people based in Houston. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about regulatory submissions into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with regulatory submissions. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
