Software Engineer - integrations (El Paso, TX)

Harborlight Drift Inspection Services is an inspection company in El Paso with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on integrations. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about field inspections into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with field inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in El Paso. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
