Software Engineer - integrations (Detroit, MI)

Nova Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Detroit area, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our integrations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with field visits. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
