Software Engineer - integrations (Detroit, MI)

Rivermark Vista Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Detroit, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our integrations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about catastrophe response into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
