Software Engineer - integrations (Des Moines, IA)

Ironwood Mill Telecom provides broadband and phone service around Des Moines. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on integrations. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Turn requests about service installations into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with service installations. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
