Software Engineer - integrations (Dallas, TX)

Greenridge Birch Energy Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for outage response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about outage response into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
