Software Engineer - integrations (Columbus, OH)

Harborlight Drift Legal Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for billing records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about billing records into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with billing records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
