Software Engineer - integrations (Cleveland, OH)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Summit Learning Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about learning materials into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with learning materials. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
