Software Engineer - integrations (Chicago, IL)

Lumen Fox Pharma is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for clinical studies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 540 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Turn requests about clinical studies into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with clinical studies. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
