Software Engineer - integrations (Chicago, IL)

Stonegate Bridge Inspection Services is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Turn requests about scheduling into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
