Software Engineer - integrations (Chicago, IL)

Bright Rook Community Partners runs community programmes across Chicago. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on integrations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about donor records into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with donor records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
