Software Engineer - integrations (Charlotte, NC)

Rivermark Pine Insurance is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for customer complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Turn requests about customer complaints into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with customer complaints. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
