Software Engineer - integrations (Charleston, SC)

Harborlight Fern Care Services supports families and individuals in Charleston with personal care and coordination, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our integrations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about care plans into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with care plans. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
