Software Engineer - integrations (Buffalo, NY)

Highbridge Fox Early Learning is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for tuition and subsidies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 153 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about tuition and subsidies into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with tuition and subsidies. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
