Software Engineer - integrations (Boston, MA)

We are growing our team at Bright Field Water Authority and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. You would join a small organisation of about 89 people based in Boston. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about meter reading into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
