Software Engineer - integrations (Boston, MA)

Redstone Wilder Learning Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in Boston. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about family communication into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
