Software Engineer - integrations (Boston, MA)

Westbrook Linden Facilities is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for supply orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in Boston. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about supply orders into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with supply orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
