Software Engineer - integrations (Boston, MA)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Field Water Authority and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. You would join a small organisation of about 70 people based in Boston. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about pipe repairs into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
