Software Engineer - integrations (Boston, MA)

Foxglove Glen Legal Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for client files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Boston. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about client files into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with client files. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
