Software Engineer - integrations (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Union Facilities Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. You would join a large organisation of about 392 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Turn requests about work orders into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
