Software Engineer - integrations (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Summit Haven Early Learning and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. You would join a small organisation of about 97 people based in Austin. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about tuition and subsidies into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Austin. • We reply to every applicant.
