Software Engineer - family engagement app (Detroit, MI)

Rivermark Willow Early Learning runs early-learning centres across Detroit, and our parent app is how 6,000 families see attendance, photos and messages from teachers. We are hiring a full-time software engineer to help build and maintain it. What you will do • Build new features such as daily updates, billing views and enrolment forms, working with a designer and a product owner. • Improve reliability and speed on older phones and poor connections. • Keep personal data secure, since the app holds information about young children. What we are looking for • Two or more years of mobile or full-stack development. • Care about privacy and accessibility. Full-time, on site in Detroit with flexible hours around school-run times.
