Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Tucson, AZ)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Wilder Insurance and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around catastrophe response that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in catastrophe response. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Tucson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
