Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Tucson, AZ)

Redstone Amber Medical designs and makes medical devices in Tucson. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on research and testing. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around device records that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in device records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Tucson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
