Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Tucson, AZ)

Redstone Wilder Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Tucson area, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people based in Tucson. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around student accounts that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in student accounts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Tucson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
