Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Tucson, AZ)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Bright Early Learning and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 167 people based in Tucson. What you will do • Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Tucson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
