Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Toledo, OH)

Greenridge Pike Early Learning is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for licensing records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around licensing records that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in licensing records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
