Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Tampa, FL)

We are growing our team at Redstone Granite Community Partners Group and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in grant reporting. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
